Pizzeria
We craft our Neapolitan-style pizzas using a blend of exceptional local ingredients and time-honoured Italian staples.
Our dough is slow-proved for a minimum of 24 hours to develop depth of flavour and create the signature light, airy, and gently blistered base that defines true Neapolitan pizza.
Each pizza is topped with Fior di Latte mozzarella for its delicate creaminess, and our Italian cured meats are sliced fresh from the joint to preserve their aroma and texture.
Restaurant
Our restaurant celebrates the very best of Italian cuisine, reimagined with a contemporary twist. Led by our head chef Marco, the menu blends beloved Italian classics with creative flavour pairings, delivering dishes that feel both authentic and exciting.
Everything we serve is made fresh to order, using ingredients sourced as close to home as possible. We work closely with The Little Fish Company in Kelvedon, who supply only the finest sustainably sourced seafood.
Our lamb comes from Colne Valley, our pigs are reared in Suffolk, and we use premium Loghorn beef from Wiltshire.
From our bread to our mayonnaise, every element is made in-house except our pasta, which we source from an artisan supplier and serve fresh.

Small Plates
We've designed an aperitivo menu consisting of a variety of small plates to be enjoyed with a glass of wine or a refreshing cocktail.
Aperitivo in Italy is typically enjoyed as a light snack before dinner. Everything is made fresh in-house, with many of our ingredients being sourced within Essex or Suffolk.
Our Story
Otto was born from the founder's love of Italian gastronomy. Not just the food itself, but how food brings families, friends and communities together.
Food & drink in Italy offer a moment of interaction between people - from a quick catch-up at the bar with a barista to an annual village fete bringing a whole village together. It's this relationship between food and people that we want to re-create at Otto.
After living in Italy for 8 years, Otto's founder, Jamie, was keen to showcase the Italian way of eating after being frustrated by the lack of cafes and restaurants in the local area offering hearty, high-quality food for a reasonable price.
The mission started small by opening a cafe serving speciality coffee and a handful of fresh panini & cakes - we quickly became known for serving the best coffee in the area. We've grown up quickly and now boast a substantial cafe menu, an in-house micro-bakery. Plus, we've opened on evenings serving pizza and are now expanding our seating area to bring you a traditional Italian menu and aperitivo-style sharing boards and Italian cocktails & drinks!

Our Food Ethos
At Otto, we believe exceptional food and drink begin with mindful sourcing.
We make all our food in-house, using the highest quality ingredients, and we strive to support local businesses wherever possible, from sourcing local flour for our bread to working with British farms for our meats. We're passionate about keeping our supply chain close to home—championing small producers and reducing our impact.
Community
At Otto, good food brings people together. We're proud to be a space where community thrives, hosting book clubs, displaying the work of local artists, and creating room for conversation and connection. We're always exploring new ways to give back and grow with our local community, so if you have an idea on what more we can do, we would love to hear from you.
